The problem is that the government supports the “collectivos” groups... violent extremists... who go out and attack the peaceful protesters. The whole thing is one big mess.
If I had two dollars to rub together I’d like to send a little...material support to the protestors.
I wouldn’t mind a few of those refugees.
Not to fret....that’s part of it....it goes with the territory of every country that rebells against it’s leadership.....they just need to keep on keeping on....there’s a purpose for it all as it plays out....and yes people will die...they already have....but freedom is not free....they are now learning just that!
*snicker*
Those food shortages keep them good and slender.
tsk tsk...
Well time for dinner.....later folks!
Apologies to cigar aficionados.
People without much more than pistols and rifles can’t defeat tanks.
However, tanks and jet bombers are just inert metal if they can’t get parts, fuel, and supplies. And the procurement clerks who accomplish that are not protected by armor.
When Mubarak was tossed, the Muslim Brotherhood had the only ground game in town. That’s why they won.
.....”the Muslim Brotherhood had the only ground game in town. Thats why they won”...
That’s right, and the USA backed them then and even as Morsey was in his fall and after... but then considering they are the “Muslim representative group of the Global Elites” in the ME. Countries....it could go no other way. The Clintons/Obamas etc and others like them.. believe they can control the Muslim Brotherhood and why they work so closely with them..
That’s better !
The same way Gandhi not only resisted but defeated the British in India: non-compliance. All governments work with the consent of the governed. Remove the consent, the government can imprison you, torture you, even kill you, but it can't force you to comply.
You can't rule a people who refuse to be ruled. That's basically what John Galt said in his epic speech.
Then there's always the guerilla option. You might not be able to defeat the enemy, but you can wage asymmetrical war against him, and make the cost of his tyranny so high his reign of terror collapses under its own weight. Look at the Warsaw Ghetto as an example.
