Pond 75 from the house, trout creek 160 yards to the south trout river 350 yards to the west. Ground water 12 feet below the basement floor.
Hand pump stored in garage. Generator with enough fuel to pump many thousands of gallons. At 16gpm and hour of running would give me 960 gallons on just over a gallon of gas.
I would hate to be caught in the death traps called cities.
