Just Monday I saw a story claiming he endorsed the nuclear option and would vote for it. Did Schumer call him?
What makes you think that if the dems were in charge they would not do the same thing? Harry Reid said they would back in October when he thought Hillary would win and they would get the Senate back. Waiting for them to do it first is beyond stupid in my opinion.

All of these “nuke it from orbit” comments around here have been nice and somewhat amusing. But lil Johnny McCain has never, ever, ever met a back he did not want to stab. Schumer and the rest of his ilk know this and count on the ultimate collaborator to carry out their wishes.

All I can say is that McConnell had better get out the baseball bat & start breaking arms of any Repubs who are going squishy & get them on board quickly. If Gorsuch is NOT confirmed, then the Repubs might as well pack their suitcases and head on home. The MINORITY Dems will have totally routed & humiliated the Repubs again, but this time it will be a loss from which they will not recover, & Trump won’t be able to get anything done. When they get home, they should be met with pitchforks, tar & feathers.

He claimed that the Republicans would not want the Dems to nuke the filibuster when and if the Republicans were in the minority. Well, the Republicans became in the minority again and it is exactly what happened. Reid nuked the filibuster. McCain was silent. This man is a eunuch.
