Congress can not effectively operate without hearings both to produce laws and to handle investigations of those subjects important to the nation. Many are after the fact which is also unavoidable.
One of the more important hearings were those into organized crime in the late fifties which revealed concert evidence that there was a Mafia and which led to the arrest, conviction and imprisonment of many OC figures. They also put JFK into the spotlight resulting in his election, after which he and RFK went after the Mob in a spectacular fashion. Sadly that led to his death.
It is even more clear that you don’t understand the workings and importance of the Congressional hearing procedure. Often they only have educational value which you, apparently, disdain.
While I did not say that it is certainly possible that there will be arrests and convictions coming from hearings. Most criminal cases come from other sources, it is true.
Look here dumbsob, I wouldn't watch Congressional committee hearings if I didn't find them educational, I mean, why else would I punish myself by listening to Elijah Cummins. Every time I see him and listen to his disgusting gurgling I want to put my foot through the television. That's one of the reasons I'm sick of the hearings. So we watch the hearings and get educated, find out just how treasonous these people are, only to see NOTHING come from it. How can you accuse me of being uneducated on the process when I'm watching the damn committee hearings all the time. Do you watch them? All these bastards lie under oath and get away with it over and over again. Take Holder for example, in contempt of congress and kept his job. And don't try to tell me it's because this happened under the Obama administration. Comey has lied under oath since Trump took office, I just watched the FEMA head and the head of CB&I lie to the Oversight Committee. Nothing happens in these hearings except for showing us just how crooked these people are. Nothing happens to them legally. I'm done with you.

Had we not educated ourselves, hearings and all, we would not have elected Donald Trump but followed lemming-like and just voted for Hillary.
Given our criminal justice system it is very difficult to A) get a conviction, and B) get one that sticks through endless appeals. That is why I was for Rudi Guliani when McCain got the nomination. He put thousands of mafioso in jail.
I am not saying that this will happen again but am very optimistic that things will be done. Arresting and charging a Chinese spy in DoD was encouraging and will only be the beginning.

Emotion does not add analysis and can hurt it. I face the same problem. It can even harm your health and we don’t want that.
Unfortunately, tens of millions of people did vote for that witch and refuse to listen to any arguments against her. She may have even garnered a greater total vote than Trump. So this is still a gigantic problem.
I doubt that any freepers actually voted for her, in spite of threats when tempers were high. Not even the Never-Trumpers.
