“Why do we wear this funny looking robe??” asked the young man.
“The majestic ‘djellabah’ protects our body from the furnace like winds of the mighty desert sirocco.” said the father.
The son asked, “Why do we wear these funny looking sandals?
His father replied, “These glorious ‘babouches”, keep our feet cool from searing our feet on the hot burning desert sands.”
