The fat’s in the fire!

Not enough horses for cavalry charges.

But plenty of cannons, hand and otherwise.

“Let’s go back to the Civil War (aka the War of Northern Aggression). On the surface it was about slavery, which was starting to wane; however, it was everything about the consolidation of power at a Federal level and the removal of States Rights.”

The cause of the Civil War was simply secession. A small group within the Democrat party planned secession and to create a slave based economy. The Order of The Golden Circle was one such group but there were others.

In the 1850’s the United States was a one party Democrat controlled government. They wanted to promote a slavery based economy in the Midwest and the west through the Kansas Nebraska Act and other means.

The Republican Party which was founded in Wisconsin in 1854 in response to the Kansas Nebraska Act.

It was not slavery in the deep south but the proposed creation of a slave based economy in the Midwest and west that led to this formation. Many Midwestern small farmers and tradesmen including Lincoln's father had left the south because they felt it was difficult to get ahead in the slavery based economy.

The secession was planned and executed before Lincoln was elected. The confederate states seceded before Lincoln was nominated. In February 1861, Jefferson Davis stated that it was too late to compromise. Secession was completed.

With the exception of South Carolina, most southerners did not want their states to secede from the union. Secession was pushed rapidly by a small group of leading Democrats and not a result of a popular vote.

By late in the Civil War, the small group of Democrat politicians who had led the southern states into secession were extremely unpopular throughout the confederate states.

You are a brave soul. I left the Boston area the same evening I graduated from college. 3200 miles away. I have never returned....not even for a visit. I honestly do wish you luck.

Well, I’m ready when they are.

Good. Excellent! And you have your your partner, the one who's going to cover you and stand watch while you eat and sleep, you have that person equally up to speed in terms of training and at least as well equipped and supplied?

And now that you two are on roughly the same page, you two develop or identify two others with roughly the same qualifications, skillsets, points of view- and dedication.

Now you can really cover a perimeter... or can guard a critical asset or individual. You can do damage well out of proportion to your numbers. If you think it worthwhile, you can double your number again. or not. Or add in one or two critically needed specialists: a medic, or a signals communicator, oper a demolition engineer.

Anyway, glad you're ready. My pals and I aren't quite, but we're closer than we were.

OMG are there messed up people here. Every single federal office holder is a donkey. I have decided to run against Niki Tsongas for the MA Dist 3 seat.

Best not to advertise that here, unless everything you posted is above reproach.

Probably one of the redder areas in MA.

"Redder" in what sense? Billerica, Tewksbury, and Dracut went for Trump, but the southern part of the district, suburban Boston, is solidly Democrat.

Started with 2, went to 4, looking to add 2-4 more. That’ll about be the max for any decent span of control.

Even if we end up with only 6, well, we could put of a hell of a fight.

Good luck,

L

Yep...my b-n-law even through out Kasich, he hoped would have been president.

I didn't divulge my feelings, I loved having him bleed all over me with his liberal drivel. Enjoyed it very much.

All I said to him was, “it is very sad our country is so divided”.

He thinks we found common ground. He was so loaded and ready to find a conservative to pound on....He didn't get that satisfaction.

Hey...how’z that stout? lol

Nah. Nobody would want to be separated from their TV, computer, smart phone, and video games for long enough to fight and win a civil war.

Your relative appears to be somewhat sane despite being brainwashed. Mine are not even slightly sane, not even in the same county as sane. I can discuss weather maybe - oops, global warming. One is pretty conservative so that one I can discuss.

I hate getting in arguments especially with family members. They are 3000 miles away, which is a great help.

It is the best kind of discrediting agitprop, very believable. Notice “Quinn” has to stop giggling at one point. The point is so well made: join Leftard antifa types, be an emasculated ninny.

Not enough horses for cavalry charges.
That's awfully hard on the ponies anyway. It's enough if there's a few around for messengers or logistics runs.

But plenty of cannons, hand and otherwise.

Just so. But we at least have some excellent examples to follow. And some examples of colossal blunders to not repeat. And we have a motto:

When a million Soviet invaders came to Finland in late 1939, the Finns had a little saying about being outnumbered....

There are so many of them! And our country is so small!

Where will we bury them all...?

I seriously hope you are right. I know President Trump is a fighter, courageous, and does not give up.

I think Louis Foxwell’s prediction more likely. Why? The Dems are going so hardcore commieprog that they are losing dem voters. They’re practically bleeding out. The real antagonists are are the embeds in fed government.
