Clapper is a proven liar. This is the guy that told Congress the NSA was not collecting information of any sort on millions of Americans (later determined that they were).

First of all clapper has proven he has absolutely NO CREDIBILITY;
second: Who believes that Hussein 0bama let any LAWS stop him? Once he went through the motions with the FISA court, he most likely proceeded with the tap anyway, if they weren't already in place.
Did he deny it personally or was it denied by his newly acquired criminal defense lawyer? Or did the lawyer advise him to Deny?

Might also mean that the FISA application came from the FBI or DoJ? Clapper is scum. So it’s still entirely possible that he’s lying. After all he isn’t under oath while making these squishy statements.

The courts did not allow a tap on Trump, they allowed a tap on Trump Towers because the Obama administration led the court to believe this was a tap on the Russians.
They were DENIED the tap on Trump.
Now they have plausible deniability. Thus the stories about Trump and the Russians.

The MSM wants it both ways. When it hurts Trump, Trump Tower was wiretapped. When Obama is indicted over illegally wiretapping Trump Tower, it never happened.
