What triggered Dubya today? I hope he’s still on the wagon and making paintings of vets he helped disable.

Why the mainstream media is the enemy of the American People

I’ve been watching the coverage of this on the news and most people are unaware of the impact of the US media worldwide.
I am not the first to point this out but as I’ve said everyone living and dead from Chinese President Xi at the recent Davos globalist conference to Castro, to Chavez, to Bin Laden are concerned about US policies that contribute to global warming, homophobia, and racism.

Their local reporters are not reporting this. They are getting this from CNN.

The Bush family must already be working on Jeb’s big comeback in 2020.

Bush...the gift that keeps on giving.....

To the democrats.

There would never have been an Obama presidency if president George Bush had pursued a republican/conservative agenda instead of trying to appease leftists for 8 years.

And if he had fought back against Ted Kennedy, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and the other democrat rats instead of letting them make him into a fool.

And to top it off, he let Ben Bernanke and Hank Paulson sucker him in the fall of 2008 and convince him to hand over $700 billion dollars to Paulson as a slush fund to bail out banks and financial institutions.

Paulson used the money to save his friends at Goldman Sachs and other institutions while he let their competition (ie: Lehman Brothers) go bankrupt.

They helped the democrats portray Bush and republicans as incompetent and practically guaranteed an Obama election win.

After what we went through to get Bush elected I am saddened by how his administration turned out.

He had a golden opportunity to right the course of the country and move us in a positive direction but he flubbed it badly from 9/11 on.

Bush was a patsy for the democrats and other liberals then and he is a turncoat now.

The Bushes' collective nose is still out of joint because of the walloping Trump gave Jeb.

If Jeb hadn't been so stupid and the Bushes hadn't been so self-important, Jeb might have been Vice President now, in line for the Presidency, with George P. waiting in the wings.

Maybe the Libs were right all along. Maybe George W. really is as stupid as they said.

As for Barbara, her remarks about Sarah Palin showed what she is.

And this from one of the Bushes' most loyal supporters--who worked for George H. W. and George W. and even nominated George W. for Mt. Rushmore, here in FR. After all that, I finally saw them for what they are.

I should have voted for Gore. At least he was honest about being my enemy.

Yes. Of course he says this. The press not only ate his lunch. They fried him so hard at the stake, they didn’t even have the decency to kill him. Just taint him to poison and drown his personal brand into a joke. But gee George. Not an enemy? I wonder what he truly defines as an enemy of him and to ‘Republican’ and or ‘conservative’ principles. No wonder our country continued unmitigated to become in the power of the commie/socialists on his watch.

"I consider the media to be indispensable to democracy," Bush said. "We need an independent media to hold people like me to account. Power can be vindictive and corrosive, and we need the media to call out people who abuse their power."

I consider honest and accurate media to be indispensable to democracy. But you have to acknowledge that the current mainstream media have gone beyond being leftist to a chaotic world of propaganda and fake news. Bush cannot see this?

Why cannot Bush and others simply recognize that media is not one size fits all, but is a composed of a range of quality from tabloid to propaganda to hit pieces to actual even-handed journalism.

The reader likes to be treated with integrity and intelligence who welcomes facts and information. He or she can make his or her own decisions on the basis of quality journalism.

I remember how they treated Bush during his presidency. It was downright embarrassing and we defended him more than he defended himself. He just stood there and let everyone humiliate and embarrass him.
It embarrassed me seeing our President treated this way and doing nothing about it.

Now he chooses to join the bullies. I have no respect for him whatsoever.

Sick about my son joining the USMC during his term, trusting him.
My son served with honor and pride, which is more than I can say about Bush.

Disgusted with him, .....and with myself for being so ignorant in trusting him.

Bush - Clinton - Bush - Obama. The very definition of “decline.”

The Lord gave us one more chance. Don’t blow it, America.

"I consider the media to be indispensable to democracy," Bush said.

And one more outs himself again in his ignorance.

It's a Constitutional Republic, Jorge...you know, that thing you swore to preserve, protect and defend.

Sad to see Bush kissing the butt of the same press that tried to destroy HIM. Sometimes I regret all the times I defended him.

"Power can be vindictive and corrosive . . . "

Mr. President, are you too dumb to see that your statement also applies to the press, maybe even more so than it applies to elected officials, who are subject to removal by the voters, or by presidential term limits, or by impeachment?

In the first place, they begin with a damn lie.President never said,”the press is the enemy of the people. He said the lying media is the enemy of the people. Every son of a female dog that parrots the,”President Trump said that the press is the enemy of the people”, knows this is a damned lie. Every you know what that repeats this lie is perpetrates a lie and they are fully aware of this.

“Press not an enemy”
. . . says the man who signed McCain-Feingold into law.

The Fake News epidemic makes a mockery of the foundational premise of McCain-Feingold and all “campaign finance reform” laws.
