Inflows are back to 24,000 again for hour ending 1400 (2 PM Pacific Time). The outflow is 75,000, and it was stated in the news conference that they were going to 70,000 over a 2 hour period. We’ll see in about 15-20 minutes what the 1500 hour brings us.
Too bad Cahill hasn’t been in charge of this whole thing.
I hope that most people are evacuating without being told.

A couple sheriffs showed up at Sean’s house while he was on the way to Oroville. Apparently he trespassed on private land.
I was praying last night that the people in Oroville get enough warning to get out in time.
I watched youtube videos of the St. Francis Dam collapse in 1928 in the LA area and the Johnstown PA dam collapse in 1889. Awful.

Seepage. Where, exactly? That seems a big increase. Also wondering what’s going on with that new muddy stream ..
It’s a race. I’ll say this- when you see the work these guys are doing up there, its fantastic. They’re kicking butt. Choppers non stop, trucks with huge loads, concrete mixers..all kinds of equipment.
