They have the greatest need to be taken seriously.
Yes, that well could be it.
Al Franken of course still overmatched on that count.
We had big homemade rolls at school. Momma made biscuits for
breakfast a lot. (I wasn’t a big breakfast eating child.)
Born 1946 instead of 1945 (typo - the 5 & 6 are too close on
the keyboard & my touch-typing skills aren’t as sharp any
more as I wish they were). I am an only child, born at home,
long, painful labor for my mother & am known as a pain in
the butt to this day. Parents were older when I was born,
though not old. Daddy had been in WWII, a combat veteran of
N. Africa, Italy & Germany & shell-shocked all to heck.
Was 26 when I was born, Momma was 25. - We used to buy a
good hot lunch at school; but in high school, they began
offering an overpriced “cold lunch” & it wasn’t “cool” to
eat in the hot line any more. I turned 18 the last part of
July, went to work at Redstone around the first of June,
then married Fang in late September - 52 yrs. ago. (He
had no idea how serious I took marriage vows. Musical
marriage wasn’t what I wanted; so he was stuck - now going
on 53 yrs. (When you start getting old you need each other
- it ain’t glamorous; but it’s facts. My parents were
together until my mother died in 1999.
I didn't marry my wife until I was 35 that was 43 years ago. Figure I am stuck too.
