I agree. A properly executed Mozambique would have meant one less ANTIFA vermin.
I’d guess a .22 or .32
= = =
I would start with a 9mm hot Factory ‘defense’ load.
Some of this ‘blathering’ would have been over.
The guy who caught the bullet is not the victim in this in inside t
The shooter already engaged the shootee once. Further engagement doesn’t seem necessary.
It’s worse than that.
The term ‘restorative justice’ suggests the shooter is guilty of a crime and needs justice.
In fact, the person who was shot needs to go to jail for assault. That’d be real justice.
Dialogue? Okay. Here’s your dialogue:
Don’t assault people and you won’t get shot.
Not if the blood supply was buggered; and, required re-sectioned gut plumbing to take out piping going bad. Surgeons would also take a second look for missed bleeds, clot blockage, or origins of sepsis.
Actually its worse than that! Restorative Justice often means that there is no right or wrong, no objective values at all. Just feelings.
“asking to engage with the shooter”
You already did that buddy, and the other guy had to shoot you in self defense.
The statement was released by the lawyer.
The police and prosecutor have released the shooter, which means he had a pretty compelling self defense story (probably witnesses as well as the video).
Some things indicate that the shooter had texted/tweeted to the speaker about his stolen Make American Great Hat hoping he might get a signed one or some bling from the speaker.
I think that the shootee through their attorney is trying to avoid some serious jail time.
I am concerned about the shooter in regards to discharging a weapon in the middle of a crowd. My hope is that the shooter really knows his stuff and that he had frangible ammo and not some FMJ that could over penetrate and hurt an innocent bystanders. My fear is that the prosecutor will charge the shooter with some form of recklessness for discharging his weapon. I hope not, but in Seattle it could happen. If it does all heck will break loose.
After watching the video I think he has had plenty of range time; two people were physically assaulting him and he was in the middle of a crowd and he hit the guy square in the stomach. This was like a one-handed catch in the inzone with active pass interference going on. I’m not sure I would have taken the shot for fear of hitting someone else.
Everything that needs to be said has already been said.
Regardless, here's hoping the shooter has heard the last of it.
Saw the video...pretty clear the person attacked the shooter.
Beware of constructive dialogers
Maybe get something that starts with a .4 next time

.44, .45, .46, whatever it takes.
From the videos you(?) posted on some threads, if it was the guy in the yellow hat, it does seem like he is trying to defend another guy that had his red hat taken from him, and perhaps that guy was getting roughed up. And then the shootee IS being very aggressive to yellow hat. So it would seem reasonable that he his a Trump supporter.
On one of the articles I read (and posted the following on FR) it said the shooter had posted on-line to Milo that he had a MAGA hat taken from him earlier, he was going to attend the meeting, and would like to get another one from Milo, and for Milo to sign it.
Two red flags for me personally.
I would never go up to a celebrity without having whatever I wanted signed with me. (And my own Sharpie!)
I would never go onto a campus and try to meet the celebrity while armed. Worst case they have metal detectors and kick you out, or maybe they can bring charges
up. I know I can’t carry on the public High School grounds and would get tossed in jail pronto for that. I’m pretty sure it is the same at the UW. (Not just a “we’ll arrest you for trespassing if you don’t leave.)
Maybe the on-line comment was fake and the newspaper fell for it. It might have been some liberal just posting something to try to “blame” a Trump supporter (for self-defense?) BUT - the guy might be a liberal, and was planning on shooting Milo? And instead freaked out (being mentally unstable in the first place) when things got a little wild.
I’m sure the cops have lots more evidence and freed him for a good reason, so he probably isn’t a would-be assassin!
As liberal as Seattle is, the use of a gun to protect yourself or others from physical harm, or any kind of felony (robbery, etc.) gives the shooter pretty good protection. Not to say that this protest group will not try to sue him, or a prosecutor will try to make a name for himself.
Although the last time (in Spokane) a prosecutor tried to make a name for himself, the prosecutor lost. Of course the shooter spent a lot of time and money in court.
“Restorative justice”
One of the speakers at the women’s march was a convicted killer. Spent 25 years in jail for it (kidnapped, tortured for several days then killed a guy).
She has said previously (not at the march) that women like her were in prison because of the white male dominated system. There is no right or wrong, just circumstances.
