I am getting more and more excited. I do not want to miss one moment of tomorrow. I am so glad he won and cannot wait to see what he does for America. I am going to go to the grocery store today and have everything I need so I don’t have to leave home all day.

I just pray that we will see a peaceful transition of power. The Trump family and the Trump supporters who come to celebrate and witness his inauguration deserve to have their day unmarred by violence, but we know there are many crazies out there who seem to truly believe that Trump's ascent to power is the apocalypse. SMH

We are a military family (all branches) from way back and most of us, especially my sister and I, are very patriotic and love our military. My dad was a lifer in the AF, so I have a special place in my heart for them.
I remember when GW was inaugurated, someone told him one of the first things he needed to learn was how to salute properly (given his background, I figured he probably knew that). I suspect someone also told Trump that as I just got a quick look at his salute today, but it looked pretty good from an AF brat that had previously been around military for a very long time.
Not too long and it will only be 24 hours to go - WOO HOO!!
