It doesn’t necessarily mean single-payer. But what it does mean, if he’s true to his word, is that there will be a mandate of some sort. Just more central planning with no regard to individuals or state policies.
I would be fine with that, as long as the FDA streamlines their testing and approval process to make drug development less expensive, so that pharmaceuticals could better afford the competition provided by reimportation.
