Very interesting! The generation of "ABBA" kids is now 38 years old. They missed out on God's blessing of spanking as discipline building, so most of them grew up with no boundaries and no discipline. Many of them are in Government positions and passing laws allowing Islam to take over. Perhaps they see Islam as providing boundaries that they never had. The end will be worse than the former...

Whenever physical punishment goes too far, which was seldom the case when I was a kid, it is plastered all over the media. But when huge numbers of kids grow up hating authority, using the F-word continually, and totally unable to focus because physical punishment was verboten, the medis is silent. Yes, there are kids who seldom if ever need spanking, but most of them are female.

Some kids are easy and pliable and eager to obey

Some parents are easy and pliable and easy to disobey

Some folks don’t want to parent

It’s sure no one size fits all but there sure should be no law against it

We could be headed that way though

Remember now the majority of children today do not have parents plural or married parents

Millennials and Xers indulge kids more than boomers do or did and boomers ..me....and boomers more so than in betweens or greatest generation did by a long shot and things sure seem to have gone downhill coinciding with that to me

But yes some kids like yours might not have needed it but that doesn’t mean you parent better

It means you got lucky with less defiant personalities as did I with 2 of 5
