I take your point. At the same time, I think we overuse the word “hero.”

I served, and I am not a hero. I have known heroes, and I do not wish to be called one, because it cheapens what the real heroes did. I just tried to do what you’re supposed to do.

Excellent point. There is a proverb that goes like this:

Talking is silver, silence is gold

I don’t think that’s part of the Koran.

To hell with their requests or objectives. The American position should be that until the Muslims completely stop the use of terror, we will not stop killing them.

skerry should have said upon being appointed years ago: I resign immediately and, then, hung himself for being a traitor.

donna :" The only thing Americans are taught is that Islam is the religion of peace.

I thought it was informative , also.
I was surprised that the ISIS/Caliphate ceased to exist less than 100 years ago, when Turkey went secular,
and now I can see why Recep Erdegan of Turkey envisions himself as the new Caliph, and wants to re-establish a religious State, rather than the current secular one.
No wonder he is at odds with Gulen, who is a refugee here in Pennsylvania, and Erdegan wants Gulen extradited back to Turkey.
Your map at post #11, clearly demonstrates the vulnerability of Israel.
I would have made my post of the youtube video as a 'hot link', but I don't know how to convert it to HTML, for ease and distribution.

You’re right about Turkey, little by little it becomes clear.
