Another libtard reversal trend I’m noticing is after decades of promoting carefree deficit spending on any and every government ‘project’, we’re now seeing them lay claim to a position of fiscal responsibility, as if they’ve always been that way. Building a wall on our southern border: “how can we pay for that?” Keeping our military strong: “we can’t possibly afford that!”

The reversal trend that has me worried most is after pushing for and trying every possible way to disarm us, I’m now seeing more and more libtards buying firearms, and they’re the same ones who I hear talking about wanting to shoot the driver of a car next to them at a stop light because the music is too loud, or saying they don’t care if they can’t pass the background check for concealed carry, the law doesn’t apply to them attitude, AND the ever more frequent and in public how “somebody needs to” or “I want to” buy a “sniper rifle” and “take him out”. These formerly anti-gun libtards who are now desiring or buying firearms are becoming the EXACT sort of nutjobs they created in their heads for so long. Scary stuff!

"The university in general, is probably the most offensive thing in America."

Really?

While their leadership has been woeful over the last half century, much of this countries greatness can be traced directly to the universities.

To argue otherwise is laughable.

It’s funny in retrospect how the hero of the left, the founder of facebook, that multi-billion dollar left-wing company — started it by running an online rating system for females at his college, something that nowadays apparently gets entire teams shut down.

I’m thinking how a clever gambler could hack a half-dozen player’s accounts on some college football team, and get them suspended for the national championships.

Why not run all NCAA sports them farm tea businesses that they are?

Pay the players a wage and separate the activity from all scholastic participation.

It could start as early as middle school.

“Why not run all NCAA sports them farm tea businesses that they are?”

Good question. I was flamed earlier for merely suggesting that the NCAA be scrapped and to return to “club sports” intramurally, for all to enjoy. Archery, bowling, darts, baseball, soccer, flag football, tennis, golf, hiking etc... Something for everyone to enjoy and possibly develop a life-sport.

The NCAA is a farm system sans pay feeding the entertainment industry that is commonly referred to as professional sports. The only entities making money from the NCAA strangle - hold on collegiate sports are both the NCAA, the schools, and the broadcast networks. Which calls into question as to how much money and the percentages to each.

Mr. Cramer would not discuss specifics of the other materials, including their content or when they were created, but confirmed that the comments were made about members of the women’s swimming and diving team.

Guarantee the "other materials" were naked pictures of girls on the women's teams which got passed around and commented on. This is why they won't say anything about the content or how they were "created." Some girl took off her clothes for a team member, then got upset after the break-up when he started passing them around. They are no winners here (pun intended)...

“The behavior that we have learned about is simply unacceptable,” Mollie Marcoux Samaan, Princeton’s director of athletics, said in a statement. “It is antithetical to the values of our athletic program and of the university and will not be tolerated.”

It is simply unacceptable that you have a position of responsibility. It is clear that you are unsuited intellectually and emotionally to the exercise of power.

Your worldview is antithetical to the values of the United States of America and of all decent people. Your vicious, toxic lunacy must not be tolerated.

I don’t agree that varsity athletics should be abolished. Reformed, perhaps, to channel the money in better directions, but not abolished.

That said, in your list you omitted the most difficult, most demanding, most rewarding sport of all: fencing.

Fencing will never be popular again in this country, though. If you’re watching fencers who are significantly better than you are yourself, you just can’t see what they’re doing.

I wasn’t talking about varsity sports. I was referring to club sports. Dart club, fencing club, cross country club... etc...

“Sounds like a jock that figures that everyone should be into sports”

Mountaineering club and rock hound club. Oh and golf club along with Latin club and chess club.

I might have been a jock at what I loved but a massive surfing mishap that resulted in a nasty compound fracture that overshadowed any High school glory on the grid iron. I like watching baseball tho’...

Varsity sports are farm teams for the major leagues. They should be run like the businesses that they are.

Sure! Have them owned by the schools if you like but pay the players and stop the charade of pretending they are “student” athletes. It is demeaning and exploitive to athletes and devalues the diplomas of the true students.

Ditto for high school and junior high school teams. The entire corrupt system is a taxpayer subsidized system of farm teams for the big leagues.

Our local HSs charge a lot to play football, because there is virtually no subsidy. Let your grades drop, and you will not play.

The women athletic directors are always looking for some way to damage football programs.

Turn them over the Parks and Recreation if you still want the taxpayers to support your avocation.
