He also despises the second amendment for all but his bodyguards and himself and believes brown shirts should go door to door to confiscate our weapons. He’s garbage. He should be taken out with the rest of the liberal trash.

Except that Rocky (the original) is a justified Best Picture Oscar winner on a level with On The Waterfront, it’s not just a boxing movie, and Stallone was perfect in it. Plus it put the spotlight on Philadelphia. Sylvester earned his statue.

And yes I know On The Waterfront didn’t win Best Picture. Rocky is a similar story about the working class.

Nah.

I knew a marine that had been a boxer in Philadelphia about the time that the movie was set in. He had taken way too many blows to the head, and he sounded and acted a lot like the character.

Maybe Stallone really was acting.
Or, he could have had a bunch of burly guys bash his face in repeatedly for several years...

No. Defund the cesspool. If the artist is good enough people will pay to see them. If not, get a real job.

Somebody please show me where the NEA is a power granted by the Constitution to the feds.

One man's swamp is another's hallowed (play)ground.

I’d prefer Trump *not* nominate/name people for a bunch of depts. and agencies so that they can be terminated, including:

Agriculture
Commerce
Education
Energy
EPA
HHS
Homeland Security
HUD
IRS
Labor
NEA
NEH
Transportation
VA

Totally agreed—the NEA just disadvantages those in the arts who aren’t favored insiders, as well as waste taxpayers’ money.

You and others underestimate Stallone. He wrote the Rocky script and busted his butt helping get the financing to get the film made. Yeah it made his career but while doing so he broke entirely new ground in the techniques of filming boxing fight sequences.

Stallone is a pretty good amateur painter and as for his acting, I recommend a re-watch of Cop Land. He was quite good in that.

I think he would be fine as NEA chairman, an agency I agree should go away, right after we get rid of the Department of Education.

Where exactly in the Constitution does it call for...

Some appointments should be made with the main task of turning off the lights. Rick Perry's comes immediately to mind.

Amazing how you play a slow-witted guy in one film and the world concludes that you're a moron.

Stallone, anti-2A, is the typical Hollywood Hypocrite. Wants everybody’s guns except his (CCW). Makes movies filled with firepower and violence.

Moron.
