We may as well have to go for the ki11 in 2020 by replacing some RINO senators with solid conservatives and, additionally, targeting 8 25 Rat seats that will give us a 60 vote behemoth.
If the Democrats are able to retain all 25 seats they’ll have up for reelection in ’18, it will be mighty tough to keep the majority in the succeeding two electoral cycles.

In ’18 here will be ten Democrat senators up for reelection in states Trump won this year . . . plus 15 long shots. Why shouldn’t the Republicans hope to come out of ’18 having won 18 seats, rather than the paltry 8 they have to defend?

Both were won by Republicans.

(A big hint was that the NYT didn't having banner head lines announcing that the Democrats won.)
