FWIW, total 2015-2016 ObamaCare enrollment was 12.7 million people.
>> As opposed to 30 million broke from being coerced by law to pay very high premiums and deductibles.
Exactly. Obamacare will cost me $25k 2017.
It would make them uninsured only by their choice. They can pay for it like the rest of us do if they want it. I’m sure there will be an open enrollment period.
How many are illegal?
30 million uninsured.
That’s a good start.
Force personal responsibility through benign neglect.
We are losing the war on LANGUAGE.
The MSM/Left/Commies have equated INSURANCE with HEALTHCARE or TREATMENT.
We need to take back the language. No one without money would ever be turned away needing treatment.
Those people, however, many not have INSURANCE.
I pay $500/mo for a family of 4 for INSURANCE. I have a $12,000 deductible for that.
Obamacare has wrecked my wallet.
How many lost their insurance BECAUSE of Obamacare?
We will need that number to flaunt during the upcoming repeal.
How many plans were cancelled? How many lost plans that they liked?
Probably 30 million illegals. Deport them and voila, no more uninsured.
No one has insurance that is on obamacare now. The monthly cost and the HUGE deductible means you pay until you are broke. Assuming you can pay as you lost your full time job and the 29/hr one isn’t paying all the bills.
In reality, they are uninsured now. $5K deductibles? This gets paid by those ‘insured’ people first. It’s almost funny when O-bots have it explained to them what a ‘deductible’ is and they are on the hook for this amount. It saddens me when hard-working American patriots are forced onto this dreck. Insurance rates have only risen and insurance choices have only been dramatically reduced under Zero.
Repeal Obamacare ASAP.
Let the insurance companies start throwing out how they could cover citizens at what costs with prexisting condition offers.
So? It is not the federal government’s job to take care of people or see after their needs just because they are there.
Maybe if those on the left had ever bothered to amend the Constitution to give it such powers, but they didn’t because they didn’t need no stinkin’Constitution! Arbitrary-government loving scum!
Being insured does not mean you are going to be cured. It doesn’t guarantee anything except the IRS/Feds getting access to your medical problems.
with the greater freedom and lessened regulatory burdens under trump plans, more doctors can afford to be part of charity programs for those of documented poverty.
this is holistic. this isn’t just about a trumpcare, this is about a trump view of government.
yeah... obamacare has become a bunch of catastrophic plans.
Return to totally market medicine and insurance and those who want insurance can get it at much cheaper rates because they don’t have to pay for all the government requirements and don’t have to provide the livelihood for all those bureaucrats. Medicine itself will be much cheaper for the same reasons. Throw in real tort reform and insurance wouldn’t even be needed for many or most. Pre existing conditions will be cared for more efficiently and cheaper, much cheaper for the whole system. Before the government got totally involved there was always a good chance that a serious or preexisting malady would get cared for by charity organizations and churches.
Even With Obamacare, 29 Million People Are Uninsured:
Here’s Why ...
www.thefiscaltimes.com/.../Even-Obamacare-29-Million-People-Are-Uninsured-Here-...
May 10, 2016 - An estimated 20 million people have gained insurance since health care reform was signed into law in 2010, but in the six years since, a significant group of Americans remain uninsured.
Estimates vary, but as many as 29 million Americans about one in 10 lack coverage.
Insurance is NOT the goal in a rational society. Medical care is. Lack of insurance is NOT lack of medical care. Requiring Insurance is like requiring that everyone buy IPods.
Problem is there are a lot of state requirements for health insurance. Somebody like California will keep all the burdens on insurers extremely high and then the evening news will say it’s Trump’s fault when Californians can’t afford health insurance.
