Watch the ‘Pubbies (esp. Ryan and McConnel) ‘extend a hand across the aisle’ put an end to this...

Dems are just terrible legislators. Their worldview only works with a dictatorship.

No, it doesn’t. It just makes the disasters they create harder to overturn.

We NEED extreme Rightists to counterbalance all the Leftist judge-legislators that Obama put in place.

I get your drift, but let us not use the left’s terminology.

What we need is honest jurists of integrity that enforce the Constitution as it was written.

There are none of those on the left.

My prayer is for the Republicans to be EXACTLY as focused and ruthless as the Democrats were in the first 2 years of Obama. Slash and burn, baby!

They manipulated elections so a Republican would never win. Enter Donald Trump! Hopefully, he will clean up the election process from coast to coast.

LOL - sticking it to corrupt liberal elites is one more WIN for our side. Thanks Donald Trump - this is so much fun.

I can see the headlines now... “Coons to oppose Sessions on racial grounds.”

You’re right, I was using the Left’s terminology. I do want strict Constitutionalists. When Obama first was elected, I told the Leftists in my family that there would a real schism in the country. And if there was a split, our side would get the Constitution because their side wasn’t using it anyway. I was in the ER with high blood pressure after the 2012 election. I couldn’t believe the Left was able to cheat Obama back into the White House. As the years wore on, I blamed Romney more and more for not fighting to save the country in 2012. No, I don’t believe that Constitutionalists are extreme. I was just using the Left’s terminology.

Don’t worry Senator Coons, you have turncoat allies in the Republican Party that’ll help you out.

Doubt it ... blocking Sessions means Sessions stays a Senator, and one with a good bit of seniority. There would be hell to pay from Sessions himself, and they know it. Furthermore, with all the appointments, there will be new Senators and Representatives appointed by their Governors to replace the appointees, and a pissed off Sessions would easily turn them into a voting block because they would all be there specifically because of Trump.

Coons, who is trying to block Jeff Sessions’ nomination as Attorney General, says that Republicans need to help him

And, if the past is any indication of the future, as many Republicans as necessary to stop/block Sessions will rise to the occasion. If I were a betting man, I would bet the farm and then some that the McCain Duo, John and Linda[Lindsey]McCain, nee Graham will be the leader[s] of the pack.

That’s right, apillar — there are plenty of RINOs who feel Coons’ pain. He really need not lose a wink over it.

How can anyone say that Jeff Sessions is not qualified to be Attorney General?

Especially after the Republicans allowed Obama to nominate the totally unqualified Loretta Lynch and Eric Holder to the same position.

This is just one reason I despise the democrats. Hate all of them to the core.

But he does sort of resemble "Ole' Snakehead".
