Of course if Atlanta had not fallen Lincoln's electoral college vote would have been lower...Lincoln was afraid he would be defeated. So perhaps he owed his victory to Jefferson Davis for replacing Joseph Johnston with John Bell Hood.

But consider this: only Trump’s electors are in jeopardy. Hillary has NO electoral votes to lose. Even though Trump should still retain victory, the margin of victory between the two shrinks... and then the next “trick” surfaces.

Has slick hilly started assembling a cabinet yet on the presumption she will overturn the election yet? If not than than the argument that the purpose of the recounts was to delegitimize the Trump’s presidency is likely correct.
