Gasp - that was from a more Christian time, a quaint time when people were rather expected to a) be Christian and b) attend church pretty regularly.
So, since this probably offends the Moslems, the Us will probably tear down the old churches they have.

How about we tie our foreign aid/weapons sales to Muslim counties with how many refugees they will take on our behalf. The Somalis (and the Syrians) should be going to other, more stable African countries or Saudi Arabia or UAE or Jordan. They at least have a chance of assimilating there. If they do have a cultural effect on the country they are going to, it will be small. We should not be importing by the hundreds of thousands...poor, 3rd world Muslims with no chance to assimilate into our culture. It's not good for them. It's not good for us. This was a bad idea from the start and was destined to end in tragedy.
I live near Columbus and the Somalis corner of town is like being in another country. It shouldn't be like this in America.

I would suggest three questions:
1. Is an infidel deserving of death?
2. Is someone who leaves the Muslim faith deserving of death?
3. Is someone who draws a picture of Mohammed deserving of death?
Fail one and you’re out. Hesitate on one and you’re out.

I would be trickier. Like keep them all in a detention facility (ala Ellis Island) until they are vetted, but have some fake muslims in the facility with them. They will speak openly when they think there are no infidels around, and those fake muslims can report back to their superiors as to what they really think.

They threatened to destroy the need for the entire justice system and 1 million jobs so they put out the fake news that they aren’t reliable. With today’s technology— you cannot beat them. I’m going to have to disagree. If they really were 100% accurate, then the machine could be plugged in and operated by anyone, and would not require a specialist to “interpret” the results. The very fact that a human is an integral part of the process precludes the possibility of 100% reliability, because humans are never 100% reliable.
For example, take the case of Gary Ridgway, the “Green River” serial killer. They gave him a polygraph, the examiner said he passed, and he was set free to kill some more. Later, the FBI reviewed the tape and said he actually failed the test and the examiner interpreted the results incorrectly. Well, since the test consists of the machine’s results PLUS the fallible examiner’s interpretation, he beat the test.

I have no experience with either, but I am going to rely on the opinion of CIA officers who did try every “truth drug” imaginable. Yes, sodium pentathol can make people talk, but their opinion was that it also makes the subject very open to suggestion, resulting in many false or unreliable confessions.
There are similar problems with water boarding and torture; they will make people talk, but they will also make them say literally anything that they think might get you to stop, whether it is true or not.
All around, I think the best way to get truthful info is to simply spy on them when they think their conversations will be private. Whether that entails hacking their online accounts, or monitoring them with electronic surveillance, or just good old moles, I think that is the best way to get the truth out of them.
Or we could just ban all muslims and not worry about whether they are lying or not. Then we’d just have to worry about them lying about whether they are muslim to avoid the ban.

If it’s wrong, how is it wrong? How can a test that requires human interpretation ever be “100% accurate”, if the human interpreters cannot achieve 100% accuracy?
Show me a lie detector that doesn’t require human intervention, and I might believe the claim, but otherwise I see no possibility that it could be true.
