On social policy, Democrats have to practice what we preach: tolerance. Social policy, thankfully, is the place where all facets of the party are in harmony. The fight Democrats have led to fully include lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and immigrants in our society, to protect a woman’s right to choose, and to stand for sane gun laws and holistic policing and criminal justice has been a unifying force for Democrats, not a source of division as it was in the 1990s.

They still don't get it. Their form of "social justice" is a zero-sum game built around resentment, marginalization, and outright hatred toward the middle class, racist hatred toward its asian and white components, sexist hatred against its male component. You can't build a coalition by picking out enemies and uniting against them. You can pick a fight, that's all.

There is a vision of a united country where everyone has the same rights and obeys the same laws, but it's nowhere close to Democrat-land. Until it is, they will fail.

But, if you insist, start by recognizing that socialism has NEVER worked, any time, or any place. If democrats won't admit that simple fact, then, they'll be forever losers, even if they gain some political victories along the way.

Secondly, you must admit that, the problem with the world is NOT the U.S.

Thirdly, a country without borders is not a country at all.

Fourthly, big government is NEVER good for any country.
