OK, what is the law on this?

We have “Freedom of the Press”. But in regards to the President and the White House, what does that mean legally?

One of my dreams is Trump cuts the White House Correspondence in half and replaces that half with Citizen Journalists & Bloggers on a rotation. Just not take questions from the MSM.

Trump will be reporting to the nation on what he is doing thru Social Media, and let the new media ask the questions.

I would pay real money to see the MSM react to that.

Dude, what makes you think you are legally entitled to this access? You are not.

Are you entitled to be present when President Trump and his wife make love?

What is the difference between dinner with kids and making kids? It is called privacy and I am so glad he is maintaining it.

You GO, Donald!!

Reads to me as if they are threatening the President-elect, and deserve a visit from whomever investigates these threats.

I’d like to see them (the press) publicly detail their expectations as well as the potential repercussions if those demands continue to be ignored.

This is too important, and the Trump campaign learned all the wrong lessons during the campaign when they faced no penalty for blacklisting reporters.”

Oh noes, the dreaded double-dog “potential repercussions” threat…. What’s the media going to do Tommy, stop reporting on Trump? Ignore Trump? LOLOL… that’s not exactly a threat. Tommy is so going to be riding his bicycle in slow circles in front of the White House…

Again, I don’t think the media understands. And they don’t understand so many things that I have to respond in more sentences than I would like. First, he had dinner with his family. That’s not news. Second, New Yorkers go out to eat a lot. Restaurants don’t want the press corps in their establishment. And whats up with breaking “long held tradition”. Thats like putting an apple on your head at a shooting range. They are bigging Trump to shoot it off. What makes anyone think “long Standing Tradition” is something that Trump will respect. Did they watch the election?

And the proposed retribution is laughable. The big five networks are not that big any more. They also aren’t going to report fairly now that Trump won the election. The press unloaded on Trump like a robber shooting superman. Their bullets had no affect. Trump is not so stupid as to think the press will be kind if he only behaves. And finally, Steve Bannon provides all the media access Trump needs. Breibart and Drudge will be happy to report any news the networks don’t find fit to print.

If the press corps wants to exist at all in the future they better be careful. Trump does not need them.
