Somebody on Team Trump really has it on the ball! I feel a sense of great relief.
Pretty much.
Ha Ha!
You know it was actually me that coined the moniker ‘Krispy Kreme’ for Cristie more than a year ago right here on FR. Then it went viral but not before one Freeper admonished that it was inappropriate as there are some longterm Freepers that were quite Obese like Christie.
But I forgave Chris of sorts when I saw he was one of the first converts to Donald after he was eliminated in the primary, unlike others. He also defended Donald well in the press when not many others would.
So there are saving graces for Chris. He’s not a stupid man and as a cop he is dogged for sure. But Rudy should go in the AG slot and bring the Clinton crime syndicate by hook or crook to justice.
So where does that leave Chris? Maybe as Treasury Secretary to revamp and clean up the Secret Service, restore their morale and to AUDIT THE FED!
Or perhaps better yet Comey should be fired and Chris be made FBI Director, or IRS Commissioner.
I’m not worried about Chris going RINO under Donald’s command. Chris has shown himself to be a loyal follower of Donald Trump and will respect Trump supporters and the Trump movement. He’s an asset now, give him that.
You know, you’ve almost got him pegged. He really is like a powerful guard dog!
See my post #83.
Thank GOD! Now get rid of Christie and don’t look back. This illegal and Muslim lover can only cause dissent in the ranks.
Trump was asked in the Obama meeting who was working transition.
And Trump negotiated to get back with him. Simple as that.
Christie will likely get a cabinet position but not AG; perhaps homeland security or UN Ambassador
I’m curious: does a single person on this thread know the history b/w Christie and Jared Kushner’s father?
you are correct
Trump has been a success because he finds good people and lets them go to work. He is accustomed to having CEO’s that report to him. he knows more about selecting leaders and delegating responsibility than any president in memory
Trump has been very smart with his people. If there is any sign of corruption or distraction caused by any of his top people, they are FIRED or DEMOTED. It may be hard and tough, but we have a golden opportunity here; we can’t give the other side any ammo. Loyalty can only go so far; if an aide has a self-inflicted wound, he/she is gone.
He got rid of (or demoted) two senior campaign advisers and now Christie. I’m mixed on Christie; seems like a bit of a thug and may be too RINO to run Transition. Respect his speaking ability; but not worth the cost to have him manage transition.
Pence is the adult in the room. Fresh breath of air after the rookies and partisan hacks over the last 8 years.
If Jerseyans have issues with Christie, I hear them out. Until someone has lived here, they don’t know the alternatives.
All Star Team!
#8 My hope is that someone saw the appointment of Mike (Whitewash) Rogers to head the NSA transition team.
This is the former chair of a Congressional Committee investigating Benghazi event that didn’t ever interview Clinton or even identify Who got our people out.
Then he ran off to work for a company providing security overseas.
Trump MUST be smart with his people. Any liability must be cut loose immediately. His administration must work as a well oiled machine to be ready to meet the strong opposition Trump will face. IMO, the first opponent he’ll meet in the gladiator ring will be Chuckie Schumer, who is someone one can’t make deals with. And Mitch McConnell needs to be really schooled regarding the power of We the People.
Great move. I don’t think Christie has very good judgment in hiring people. Look at his Bridge Scandal buddies!
Why should Christie even be there at all? He didn’t deliver New Jersey.
Under the Bridge.
ICK!
How about New Jersey for starters
Press Secretary
That’s not a bad idea. Chris could keep the despicable press in line just by threatening to eat them for lunch if they don’t behave.
He really does have a presence as an Alpha Bouncer, doesn’t he?
