All good news let’s just hope it’s not jihadi’s buying all the guns...
There have been reports of them trying in the Amarillo, TX area, but failing to find willing sellers.
I did my part.
I’m considering buying an AR-15. Any recommendations on model and manufacturer would be appreciated.
This warms my heart every time it happens.
I assembled my first AR. Easy peasy.
You oughta try it. You can get everything in the mail except the lower receiver.
If you can change a tire, you can build an AR-15.
Now with all that new weaponry, where do we find ammunition and reloading supplies to fill the voids? I need some .280 rifle brass.
So how many checks does Barry have by now?
I don’t reload, yet.
Looks like Krakenpop is sold out, though.

“A gun behind every blade of grass.” Are we there yet?
That's like saying "I'm considering buying a car. Any recommendations on model and manufacturer would be appreciated."
You will hear opinions here on which AR is best, but as a general rule of thumb, EVERYTHING on an AR is changeable, so for your first AR you don't have to worry about getting it perfect the first time, you can always change it.
Just about any manufacturer will do. If you are on a strict budget, the only thing I would say is stay away from the basement bottom rifles that use polymer lowers. Beyond that, any rifle you buy that uses an aluminum upper and lower will be fine. You can always change the barrel, bolt and carrier, trigger, grips, fore end, sights, buttstock, buffer tube. etc.
If your budget is north of $1,000, then your extra money will buy better furniture, a nickel boron coated bolt carrier, etc., but unless you plan on shooting thousands of rounds a year, it won't make a huge difference.
When shopping, the two words I would look for are "mil spec." Any rifle with a mil spec upper and lower, mil spec buffer tube, mil spec bolt carrier, and mil spec trigger group will be a good serviceable first weapon.
You can sweat the details on your second, third, and fourth AR!
Mine is a P380. How does yours run? I had a PM9 when they first came out and couldn’t get the bugs out, but this is many years later. I haven’t fired this yet, but will run a couple hundred thru it this weekend.
My CW45 is the smallest pistol I’ve ever owned or fired. It took a while getting used to the size and caliber, but it works flawlessly. Conceals very well, too.
I just wish they offered threaded barrels for it so I could try it with the suppressor.
The Windham Weaponry SRC is my current recommendation. Good quality, good price and ready for your choice of optics or iron sights.
THX
Believe it or not after all that’s come out, hillary could still win.
That would mean countless anti-Second Amendment executive orders coupled with packing the USSC with anti-firearms hardcore Leftist/Acticists trashing the constitution.
Get ‘em while you still can.
