Education, like most institutions in our country is in disrepair. Misguided leadership, harmful policies that indoctrinate rather than educate, weak leadership leading, in too many instances, poorly qualified teachers. With all that said, there have been several generations of AMERICANS who have been trained (for better and for worse) there and there will be generations more to come. I homeschool my children, but serve the common good by trying to train up some children in the way they should go. Most Americans can’t homeschool and can’t afford private school. These are our fellow citizens, and we can either recognize we’d better do something to instill in them a common culture while there is still time or recognize we are choosing to live in two separate Americas (until such time as we are no more.)
I choose the former.
Give me a %.
Oh yes, that is because many subs are older, retired people.
Really? How about 50%?
Your guessing!
For many of them, the kids will learn more with a sub in the room.
No.
The article states 25%.
My Friend, I very much agree. I am starting my 19th year in the trenches. Fun times! We, as conservatives, have complained about education for years but we have not done anything about it. However, the progressive communists did. They stacked the education deck with their kind. The best way for us to change education and our country is to encourage young conservatives to enter the field of education and take back what is ours!
Ultimately, waging war for the hearts and minds of tomorrow’s citizens is where the battle for America will be won or lost.
