If you have internet separate from satellite you dont need satellite to watch streaming tv.
We have internet separate from satellite but its SLOW and goes off for hours or days.
With a decent over the air antenna you can get 40+ channels in some markets over the air for free - in some places many more. With a streaming box to go along with it, which has numerous free channels to stream from (a lot of them are junk, but there are many good ones, too - like Pluto TV mentioned here, as well as some cable networks like Ebru, Sky News, Weather Nation, etc.) that pretty much gives you a huge amount of TV to choose from. Get a radio to along with that (for sports, music, talk shows, etc.) and you shouldn’t need to pay a cent for TV.
I’m amazed at the number of people I meet who don’t know TV is available over the airwaves with an antenna - “I thought they stopped doing that”...uh, no. LOL.
Over the air listings. Plug in an antenna and you can see a lot of free shows.
