At the Torino link there is a Ford GT video. From that one one you can go to
a really funny one of a European Bugatti owner who ran his car out
of gas and then could not get it into a trailer until four guys helped push it.
When the brakes failed the 3rd time we called a wrecker and got rid of it. The dealership said they failed to find anything wrong and put it on the lot for sale. He replaced it with a Cheve.
A few months later, on the news there was a story about a young kid who ran a Ford p/u the same color into someone’s house. We wondered if it was his same truck.
People tend to buy cars when they áre confident that they will be employed and able to pay all their bills. That does not describe the current economy.
Auto sales aren’t truly healthy to begin with, due to increased levels of subprime lending.
Yep, those are the photos I saw. I’d be interested in the diesel Ranger. Only 144 K on my 01 Ranger now so it should last well beyond the 2019 intro of the new one. All the truck I need.
Now it has 32k. It could be my last vehicle.
I used to laugh at the local TV and radio ads promising cars for everyone and their brother no matter how bad their credit.
I’ve stopped laughing when I realized how frequent and desperate-sounding they’ve become. The tone of some of the “SIGN AND DRIVE!!!” type ads that air daily started to make me wonder just what kind of people they’re ‘pre-approving’ just to try and move inventory in a $hitty economy.
