Exactly. Since RCP seems to be the go-to for polling averages, it seems they should be QCing incoming polling results to align to that spread.

That is the part I will NEVER grasp. I understand wanting to BET on a winner, there is money involved but I cannot even begin to fathom voting for someone you don’t prefer simply because you think they are going to win without your vote. To me that is as idiotic as a person can possibly be.
What I heard is that this biasing of the polls is designed to disenfranchise Trump voters prior to the election and possibly get some to put off registering in time. The only poll that counts is election day and they do try to get it right just before election day so that they are well regarded in upcoming elections.

No. They are intent on crooking the results so their candidate with the deep pockets can win and throw them moolah moolah moolah.
