We are expats living in Mexico right now. It’s $30. a square foot here in Ajijic to build a home. Mexicans build beautiful and sturdy homes and almost ALL of them have walls.
Another note, many of the Mexicans that we know that came back to take care of aging parents, tell us, they miss everything about the United States. In our town, the locals really appreciate all that the expats have done to improve their town and their lives.
I have too many fears to live in Mexico. Of course, most major cities here have areas I wouldn’t wander into either.
If I should you pictures of the retirees that drive in annually for the last 15 years from Utah (lots of them), you’d be amazed how they look like salt of the earth Americans, but are enjoying an easy life here. 10,000 expats around Lake Chapala at last count.
Doesn’t Congress do the handing out of the money? Where does Obama get $75 million?
” A reported 175,000 Central Americans were deported from Mexico in 2015 (a 68 percent jump from 2014), and so far in 2016 that number is approaching 100,000.”
Yeah they deported them to the US! Obama then let’s them stay!
“Looks like the Mexicans can build a wall cheaper than we can.”
Of course they can.....its called shoddy construction.... Mexico is full of it!
If you want a wall let Mexico pay for it, but let the US build it!
“Where did Obama come up with $75 million?”
Only thing for certain is they didn’t take it out of the Obama vacation or entertainment funds.
I’m having a harder and harder time blaming our government.
We are to blame for putting up with their treason, all of them. They’re like children pushing to see what they can get away with.
Apparently we’ve sent the message that they can get away with anything and everything.
