Snowden is a creation of Obama. Snowden was the conduit to weaken the US and a plausible way to pass US secrets to Putin, right under our noses.
Snowden spent the Obama years in Russia; the central purpose of his 'visit' was to coordinate the breakdown Americans' trust in all facets of society (revealing spying, corruption, bad acts of previous administrations), to make way for the Utopians– you know, the guys who believe in the UN.
The other thing that Snowden accomplished was to cement Obama's (really, Valerie Jarrett's) stranglehold on the DNC. They can blame Trump and his 'Russian Connections' all they want– the anti-Hillary stuff is coming from the White House.
Snowden is popular with the Sanders wing of the party, so Obama’s refusal to act can’t do anything but hurt Hillary.
Unless he can pay up.
Assange should be pardoned. He’s the classic victim of a honey trap. Ecuador should lay down the law with the U.K. and advise them that if Assange is not allowed to leave Britain for Ecuador, then Ecuador should tell the Brits that it cannot guarantee the safety of its embassy in Quito. Don’t think PM May wants to be another Jimmy Carter.
