By order of the prophet
We ban that boogie sound
Degenerate the faithful
With that craazy Casbah sound

Islamic Music (Wikipedia)

This is bull shiite. Music is not used in Islamic worship (other than their weird wailing). It is used ALL THE TIME in secular activities in Islamic society.

I don’t believe people should be forced to sing and play music. Although I appreciate certain instrumentals (Johann Sebastian Bach, please), I generally do not like singing. There are some exceptions, but it’s all about the style.

Reminds me of being forced to eat Jello at lunch in school when I was a little kid. I hate the stuff, and have a lifelong aversion to it. Had to dig in my heels and get my Mom in there to run interference. Never puked any up, but had gagging episodes. To a little kid, that was like waterboarding.

Music can be a joy and should be a choice. I’d let these folks take the music course for the deaf people. They certainly have that course option, don’t they?

How can he and his family even exist in the West without being exposed to music?

Every radio, TV and internet video has a high chance of having music in it, even if restricted to advertising jingles.

Heck, you can’t go into a store these days without music playing in the background.

These same Muslin parents would be gleeful if the school offered mandatory classes on halal cooking, burka sowing, and how to beat your wife of the future and not leave marks.

I do make rare exceptions for music. This is pretty good. Easy on the eyes and the ears: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inBKFMB-yPg

If I was the teacher of those kids I would lead the class in a rousing version of “Nah Nah Nah Nah, Nah Nah Nah Nah, Hey Hey Hey, Gooodbyyyye!” whenever the dad came to collect them.

civilizational jihad! Leave!

Don McLean - American Pie
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAsV5-Hv-7U

“A long, long time ago
I can still remember how that music used to make me smile
And I knew if I had my chance
That I could make those people dance
And maybe they’d be happy for a while

But February made me shiver
With every paper I’d deliver
Bad news on the doorstep
I couldn’t take one more step

I can’t remember if I cried
When I read about his widowed bride
But something touched me deep inside
The day the music died
....
Oh, and as I watched him on the stage
My hands were clenched in fists of rage
No angel born in Hell
Could break that Satan’s spell

And as the flames climbed high into the night
To light the sacrificial rite
I saw Satan laughing with delight
The day the music died

...I met a girl who sang the blues
And I asked her for some happy news
But she just smiled and turned away
I went down to the sacred store
Where I’d heard the music years before
But the man there said the music wouldn’t play

And in the streets, the children screamed
The lovers cried and the poets dreamed
But not a word was spoken
The church bells all were broken

And the three men I admire most
The Father, Son and the Holy Ghost
They caught the last train for the coast
The day the music died
...
