I understand what you’re thinking, but right now there are no real honest people in the political class in either party, and as we’ve seen that includes conservatives! After Trump you’ll have Pence, a more traditional conservative in the wings, but right now nationalism TRUMPS ideology. Gotta start to fix the enormous problems this country faces now rather than later, and eight years of Hillary, Uncle Joe, or Pocohontas will put us in a hole we’ll never get out of. Even with Trump’s election he’ll be stymied by the Democrats and Republicans in Congress, but he’s the only shot we have right now!

But.....the ones who really, really confound me and whom I believe are really the problem are the ones who should know better. Almost all of the leftists I know who are voting for Hillary are not, or have been, immigrants. Nor do they fit any of the template of the Hillary voter we imagine (welfare, free stuff, minority, immigrant, etc, etc) No they have all been born in America, work at jobs (and not a professor though there are those also) either blue or white collar, many are married and/or have kids, have college degrees if not higher, young and old, not minority, etc, etc. But they have their stupid I’m with Hillary stickers on their cars or Clinton/Kaine signs in their yards. And not only voting for Hillary out of ignorance (though there is a lot of that) but with zeal and will defend her with all their gusto. If most of these idiots wouldn’t vote for Hillary, Trump would probably easily win. These are the goofball Hillary voters I will never, never understand.

This gargantuan collection of words should be boiled down to “Stopping illegal immigration is the key to solving most of our problems: crime, welfarism, higher taxes, terrorism, declining education and health care” If this is not done the war is lost and even IF it is done the battle will be long and hard since, as you say, the problem is the electorate. This was the reason that it was greatly restricted during the early days of the republic. It should be noted, however, that the most anti-American group of voters is single women most others do vote Republican.

Trump has demonstrated to a new generation that you must fight back against the Treason media, the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party. Most of the other Republicans cower before it like whipped dogs.

Trump won't have much time to right the ship. Trees don't grow to the sky and economies don't grow without periodic recalibrating downturns. The next recession will be a shakeout due to today's Obama/Fed loose money - but the democrat press will blame it on Trump policies. Self-driving cars will eliminate the new Uber driver income, along with long-haul truck drivers - freight could move continuously without mandated breaks. That is a lot of good paying middle class jobs that will vanish.

But Trump is a great salesman, he'll likely be able to survive the democrat media barrage.

This article is one of the few I’ve seen that capture my view of the current state of affairs. The left owns this country due to their sweeping cultural and judicial conquests and is moving it toward their preferred state—totalitarianism. Life is going to become increasingly difficult for conservatives, Christians, etc.

In the primary election last Tuesday in New Hampshire, the Democrats overwhelmingly selected a candidate for governor whose main selling point was that he was the only candidate endorsed by Planned Parenthood.
