When Lauer asks Trump the first questions, Trump should preface his response with some statement to make clear where Lauer is coming from. Something like, “Matt, I hope that your past donations to Ms. Clinton in the amount of $60,000 (or whatever) will not bias the proceedings tonight.”
The debate probably will be watched by hundreds of thousands of people. They need to know, in simple words, that Lauer does have an agenda, and that the questioning will not be fair.
Milo Yiannopolous should moderate.

If I were Trump, I would start the evenings festivities with a statement: “ Matt is involved with Hillary’s Foundation, and there are e mails from the DNC showing Matt literally begging to allow him to help Hillary out with the media.” OK folks, lets begin”

“Mrs. Clinton, when you heroically took out Osama Bin-Laden, did it finally bring you some sense of comfort to know that you brought closure to so many 911 families?”
For Trump -
“Mr. Trump, being that we are almost a month away from the election, don’t you think it is high time you apologized for your racist and sexist remarks?”
Just what I was going to say, this is scam to set up Trump because you just KNOW the pathological liar Hillary will lie her face off and Trump won’t be there on that stage to refute it. She said last week “Trump has a long history of racism” and I almost hit the roof!!! First off let her name even ONE act of racism by Trump, and second what is this “long history” bullsh*t? She will LIE her face off if there is nobody there to refute her and that’s what is going to happen here. She is a criminal and a pathological LIAR, that is ALL she is.

Lauer and others endorsing the foundation by being members is really a donation in kind, and can be viewed as suspect as if they donated cash.
Of course Stephanopolous actually donated cash.
60 minutes total duration, appearing back to back.
So Hillary will be at the podium less than 30 minutes. Probably the longest she could handle it. And Trump will not be on stage with her, where he would dominate her with his imposing presence.
He should pass on this generous offer.
