Hmmmm, woman signed the receipt but claims she did not write the message.
That smells (on Sadie’s part, not the other person’s).
I hate hate-crime hoaxes.
I don't buy this story for a minute.
And remember other hoaxes?
lesbians who scrawled anti homosexual graffiti on the garage door of their house, to show that their community was bigoted, etc??
The lesbian who scrawled anti lesbian graffiti on her own body, which she said was done by an attacker who broke into her house?
The black college teacher, who put anti black graffiti on her own car, to show that her college commmunity was bigoted?
The black students who planted a noose at their college, to prove that there was racism there??
There have been so many of these types of incidents which have been proven to be hoaxes, that I personally disregard when it’s in the news, and assume it’s fake.
I run a little ping list for hate crime hoaxes. They are a sneaky and powerful weapon for people who want to create an advantage for themselves.
Who’s the reporterette? She says she’ll be reporting the restaurant video of the customer but I can’t find a video of that anywhere. So, until I do see it, then I’m on the hoax train. The waitress sounds American so can’t see why anyone would write that out of the blue. If true, so what? Sticks and stones. Nothing to run to the news or police about. What laws were broken?
Right. Who would even think to assume that a girl who has an American accent is an illegal alien?
It does not help her story that the writing of the signature and the note are different.
This one does not quite pass the smell test. But then, none of these highly publicized “hate crimes” ever do.
Isn’t it long past time we took these “hate crime” laws off the books, anyway? The concept was never anything but political theater, put into play by none other than Bill Clinton.
How would you know she didn’t leave a tip.
I leave cash on the table for the tip. Always do. The waitress has to split a % with the other wait staff. If it;s on the bill she has to spit it all. If it’s cash and you tip more she gets to keep the extra.
The places we go to we get real good service from the wait staff because of that,
They might be fake...
But they're accurate /s>
That's what's really important.
thanks. i noted that possibility in my post 11.
Add mine, make it 6/6.
So she says . . .
Did the NY Times report how Trump supporters were beat up on Friday night?
I have worked for years in restaurants, all over the country. I can say that some people can be mean about their opinions of the service or the serving person. But usually, a person that writes something like what the waitress says was written, would be more likely to be a Liberal. They speak about compassion, tolerance and sharing; but when it comes to their OWN money... They become quite miserly.
Seriously doubt this. The shenandoah valley had illegals come in from apple picking in the 70’s. Many married local stupid girls...my cousin one of them. By 2000 or so people stopped noticing Mexicans.
I used to be a waitress in college. I got stiffed occasionally and never once got a note splaining why. :-)
It’s also possible they left no tip...and the server wrote that on there. Certain ethnic groups are famous for demanding great service and then not tipping. On a very regular basis. Pity the waitress that gets the ‘church’ crowd on Sundays. They are the worse
“Why would the police have to go looking up the customer who wrote that note?”
As I read it, the police didn’t go looking for her, she went to the police after her signed receipt was put up on the internet.
Another day, another taco bowl outreach story...
“if the customer did or didnt write it, she also didnt leave a tip.”
I often leave a cash tip even when paying by credit card.
It wouldn’t surprise me if the comment on the waitress’ receipt and lack of tip was done by NY Times liberal/troll/mole, just so there will be a story out of this.
