The Russians are not raising a stink about nuke warheads moving into Romania, because they know that there are no nukes in Turkey and haven’t been since the 60s.

Further: “Friedman argues that the location of US nuclear weapons is extremely classified, because if any enemies knew the location of the nuclear weapons, they could destroy them with even conventional weapons. Therefore, he believes, no serious source would disclose information about moving such weapons, because they would face thirty years in jail.”

Just as revealing info on moving these weapons is super highly classified, so is revealing their location - all these stories about nukes in Turkey are just red herrings, misdirection, etc. Those that make a fuss about this warhead issue are just making a fuss about nothing. But the fuss does get the adrenaline going.

It is important to note that the report says the warheads were going to Romania, not at all that they were going directly to Deveselu. Perhaps, not all, and perhaps only some types.
