As with many past Clinton scandals the press may be setting us up for a big disappointment.

"dozens of defense and security experts from both parties are urging the Obama administration to take tough action if it concludes that Russia orchestrated a series of cyberattacks on the Democratic Party."
Imagine being sent to war against Russia to defend the non-existent honor of the obama administration and the obamanation. The major problem with the clintons has been their careless and negligent behavior has made them susceptible to extortion by foreign powers.

I fear a New Years surprise from O’bozo if Trump wins.

The thing is - Putin is the perfect stooge for the Democrats to blame the leak on. He looks like a character out of a James Bond movie, Americans have memories of the Cold War, Russia is consistently portrayed in the Press, by NATO spokesmen, Pentagon spokesmen, etc. as a country we need to be very wary of - so why not blame Putin?
Makes for good electioneering. And if the Obama administration takes some punitive action - wow, they can compare this to offing Bin Laden.
