In DC they have a a good laugh at what the taxpayers want on immigration both legal and illegal. Someone said that as empires decline the upper classes become decadent. These upper classes served in WW2 and were true patriots. They were patriotic enough during the Cold War. Since the fall of communism the upper classes have gone decadent and self serving with industry destroying trade deals and open borders immigration.
