Trump has never said anything about banning mudslimes. He said he wants to halt immigration from countries “infected by terrorism” until a rigorous vetting process is in place.

The media tried to blame the attendance failure on the summer heat in Washington.

Glen Beck held a rally in Washington DC back in August 2010. On that day the heat was oppressive yet the turnout was great. Estimates vary (as they always do) but 100,000 is probably pretty close to the actual number of people there that day.

Of course the media didn't point out that the attendance was particularly good given the intense summer heat. the media only reports what it wants to report, or not.

Maybe they were afraid. No doubt the jihadis would denounce them as heretics and apostates. For islamists, that carries a death penalty.

A huge rally like they expected would have been a big target for ISIS. They were scared.
