And more factual. I no longer listen to the radio news. I no longer listen to or watch the t.v. network news. I no longer read a newspaper.

Absolutely. Hasn’t the favorability ranking of journalists dipped below that of lawyers? I seem to remember reading that somewhere. Nobody trusts them anymore.

According to the MSM playbook, all they had to do was call Trump a racist and he’d lose. They did...and he keeps winning.

The MSM’s time has come and gone; they just haven’t figured it out yet.

Democrats keep passing all these new laws...eg, increasing the min wage, Obamacare, paid family leave, etc etc.....then exempting arbitrarily defined “small business” from the laws & subsidizing, enabling more & more “small” business start ups under the claim that “small business creates most new jobs”. But the reason why “small business” creates most new jobs is because NEW businesses create most new jobs and start out “small”. But the fact is that most new business start-ups FAIL....so exempting them from rules & regulations merely props up and gambles on uncompetitive failures like Solyndra &—along with the Fed dual mandate law of 1977 (that has the Fed letting prices rise when the economy is bad & people least can afford it, but then holding down wages from keeping up by interfering with labor markets by reducing demand for labor during economic expansions)-—it’s the liberal Democrats who are creating an unstable economy that doesn’t work for middle class workers or even business owners. You’ve got all sorts of small Mexican owned businesses popping up like weeds in border states especially, and hiring “scab” labor and putting a burden on education, healthcare & holding down the price of labor & destroying a sense of community & fair play. It needs to end.

Dubya, McCain nor Mitt would have ever had the guts to do it.

Dubya: "New tone!"

McCain: "Mr Obama is a decent person and a person you do not have to be scared of as president of the United States."

Mitt: 2nd debate - "Candy, you're wrong!" - oh wait, he didn't say that...

Trump: "I'm taking off the gloves"

I live in NY. It’s a living. There are some staunch, and highly articulate, conservatives and libertarians here. The environment develops one’s discipline and fortitude.

I also predict no debates. They will blame it on Trump being unreasonable and thin skinned.

I skimmed the text of her speech. I notice that she said, “What Donald Trump doesn’t get - America is great because America is good.”

This is a direct quote from earlier times. Some say it was from Alexis de Toqueville in the early 1800s. Eisenhower used it. Reagan used it.

At least in 1994, when Bill Clinton used it, he gave proper credit: “Don’t forget that Alexis de Tocqueville said a long time ago that America is great because America is good; and if America ever ceases to be good, she will no longer be great.”

If Hillary is passing it off as her own brainchild, then she is a plagiarist.

I wonder if the Trump family recognized this — if someone on Twitter might have let them know.

I did notice that Hannity picked up on. How stupid does this b!tch think we are, anyhow? She knows her side is ignorant, but hasn’t she learned by now that WE are not?

On July 25, Clinton spoke, followed by Trump the following day. But no one can figure out how CNN would define one as a big, breaking-news event and the other as news equivalent of a bathroom break. CNN aired the entire Clinton speech — 19 minutes and 20 seconds — live and uninterrupted in the 11 a.m. hour (Eastern time). The next day, CNN failed to air a single second of Trump’s VFW speech live.

Without your post, I’d have never heard of the Clinton speech. Trump, otoh, with his 8,000,000 strong Twitter army, gets the word out regardless.

I absolutely agree. I am really hoping that Trump doesn’t resort to name calling with every reply. I am really tired of the crooked Hillary, Liar Hillary, comments. This will be his moment to speak Presidential and fight and defend with facts.

The last thing American people need to see on national television (and other countries) is Trump using verbage like I double dog dare you.

Yes, Trump should run his campaign more like McCain. You know McCain fired a staffer simply for using Obama’s middle name, right? Nothing but the high road for McCain!

Romney was quite the gentleman too. He let Candy Crowley and Obama steal the election right out from under his nose—and never once did he descend into name calling. A real winner, that Romney.

If you looked at Hillary’s tax plan, the middle class will be hit with a big tax bill if she get’s elected. Hillary proposes 28% limit on itemized deductions. WOW.

Thanks for that correction. I was going by memory, but I’m not a numbers person. Sorry to have shorted Trump’s Twitter army by over 2,000,000!
