Mitt Romney is thinking about endorsing Gary Johnson and Bill Weld

Romney won’t be voting for Gary Johnson, even if he endorses him. Romney and the rest of the Anti-Trumpers will be voting for Hillary in November. They just won’t admit to it because they can’t let the uniparty cat out of the bag so publicly.

Gary Johnson and Bill Weld are faux libertarians. Johnson is what you'd get if Jeb Bush smoked weed, and Bill Weld is what you'd get if Bill Clinton was a little more willing to cut taxes. In other words Johnson and Weld are "libertarian" in the same way that Romney is "conservative."

But you're right, it is strange to see neoconservatives suddenly play nice with the Libertarian Party, which they've otherwise despised. It's equally funny to watch the hypocrites who accused third party voters of "wasting their vote" and "helping the Democrats" in past elections throwing a temper tantrum and endorse a "vote wasting" third party out of spite.
