The robbery in question occurred just 4 blocks from where they were pulled over.

And a leftist newspaper never, ever, lies. CCW licenses are supposed to be carried at all times.

And don’t forget King Philip’s War. King Philip would not have recognized himself!

What are you talking about. He pulled someone over because he looked like a suspect in an armed robbery? He had a wide nose? This is not reason to pull someone over. And its not reason to shoot someone. Lots of people have wide noses. That’s crap. This officer belong behind bars. And he is responsible in part for the 5 dead cops.

What evidence do you have for your opinion?

I will tell you after you tell me what opinion I even expressed? If you want one, however, I will state that despite you self-proclaimed objectivity, you have no actual evidence it was a case of "mistaken identity", merely a surmise on your part.

Look, the cop shootings a black man in the back in Georgia last year, the Ohio boy with a toy gun, the Chicago black man killed by a cop even while he was dying on the ground, and these two killings in Baton Rouge and Minnesota are all just plane murders. And the cops that did it are causing Black Lives Matter and the killings in Dallas.

There have been some cases where the cops did their job, like Ferguson. But there are some bad cops out there. And they need to go, right now. And there are many other cops as well as police unions that protect these guys. And they need to go too.

HE IS. Good cops will die because bad cops abuse and kill people. There is no two ways about it. Most cops are great. And being a cop is a hard and thankless job. But that has nothing to do with it. There are bad cops and that is killing the reputation of cops in general. And when you defend clearly criminal behavior of police, you are causing criminal acts against them.

Oh, so cops shoot a guy in Minnesota, but cops die in Dallas because of it?

The operation in Dallas had been in the planning for months, something was going to trigger it one way or the other.

There are bad cops out there. And nobody is doing anything about it. Thats why Ferguson happened too. That cop did nothing wrong. But he would still have his job right now if there were not several examples of abuse experienced by the community.

I am not justifying Dallas. Its clearly, horribly wrong. But every time there is a video showing a cop murdering someone, you can expect to see innocent people (store owners, random white people, or good cops) get hurt.

If someone merely looks at a black person the wrong way, somebody winds up paying for it.

Both sides should step back, realize this is a case of mistaken identity gone very wrong..;

And you know this how?

It seems to me that the policeman pulled this man over because there was an armed robbery in the area a few days ago and this man shared at least one facial feature of the armed robber. If he pulled him over thinking he might be the armed robber then his adrenaline was running high thinking this could be a dangerous situation. He made his way to the suspect and I suppose there was some sort of interaction where the officer saw the gun. The mistaken identity was the officer thinking this man could be a dangerous armed robber and then he saw a gun. That was the mistaken identity.

And considering that the Minnesota cop is a Hispanic, perhaps he was an “Affirmative Action” hire, so perhaps that’s part of the problem, I’ll grant you that.
