I'm confused. Over the weekend was news that lawmakers and many in the state department want Obama to further target Assad forces. WTF? Why would we want to hit Assad? He is helping us kill ISIS. I wouldn't go as far as to call him an ally, but we should step out of the way, maybe even use back channels to get intelligence to him, and let him nix ISIS.
To: boycott
And yet we hear calls to attack Assad. I would go as far as to question whether Sunnis, driven from their homes from Assad’s bombing are really refugees? They are the majority and may have been supporting ISIS.
To: Read Write Repeat
Except many in Obama’s team, and some GOP, want to target ISIS and Assad. What lunacy is this?
To: Mariner
If Obama allows the shoot down of a Russian aircraft to protect some odd varietal of terrorists, the generals must shoot him asap.
Now you're talkin'.
But hell, they wouldn't have to shoot him, I'd be willing to bet that if there are still any God-fearing, Constitution-loving Generals left, that if one could get within arms reach of that Kenyan traitor, they could just put him in a head lock and snap his f--king neck.

US foreign policy long before Obama took office.
The focus is ISIS, as they are the most destabilizing force in the region.
To: traumer
Dear Russia:
Thank you for bombing the snotburgers out of the suicide-bombing, goat-pestering subhuman throwbacks to the Neanderthals that our overpromoted minstrel of a president is backing in order to help his Muslim pals. Those of us in America with an IQ above room temperature sincerely appreciate it.
If you have a chance to catch a large number of high-ranking Democrat activists and/or politicans in the same place, please feel free to repeat this course of action and announce to the world that your pilot accidentally jettisoned live ordinance over an area “confirmed to have no intelligent life”.

Agreed, he’s going to commit as much mayhem as he can before he leaves office. Look out.

0bama’s Mid east foreign policy is a Charlie Foxtrot.
Last thing we need to do right now is get into a shooting war with Ivan.

"
Time is running out to get regime change in Syria."
From
Dict.org:
R'egime \R['e]`gime"\ (r?`zh?m"), n. [F. See Regimen.] 1. Mode or system of rule or management; character of government, or of the prevailing social system. [1913 Webster]
Also, see the word, or. Why do you want stability in Syria with allies of the mullahs in Iran in power?

Why do you want stability in Iraq with allies of the mullahs in Iran in power?
It's odd, seeing comments from people without relevant training but so much vanity and confidence in their lack of authority on defense issues. They're easily directed by foreign enemy propaganda and so sure that they're correct in being misled.

Public education and organized private education are sorely lacking in civics instruction. See the War Powers Act (the real Act of 1941 and Second War Powers Act of 1942--not the later pro-commie Resolution dishonestly called an act).

I am very much aware of the War Powers Act and firmly support the process. I honestly believe our military should NOT be involved in military conflict w/o the approval of Congress.
I believe at this point, Obama could get our military into an escalated war in Syria causing war against Russia and Congress would do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. We would then be in war without congressional approval.
I am absolutely opposed to this scenario.
