Due process of law means your case has to be adjudicated in a court before any sanctions on your natural rights are applied. A bureaucrat putting you on any list doesn’t rise to that standard.

I support adding the No Fly List AND the Terrorist Watch list to the background check IF there is an appeal process codified in law. It is too easy for a rogue administration to use the lists as currently construed to disarm innocent (read that patriot) civilians to circumvent ones Constitutional Rights. We cannot let the No Fly list become a defact enemies list for Øbama. No appeals process would be fast enough to overturn what is an infringement of a Constitutional right. You shouldn't have to litigate for years over your 2nd Amendment right to purchase a handgun, just because the government put you on a list because you either do not like the government, failed to pay your taxes or they are too incompetent to list the right bad guy. It's way too open for abuse.
