The Clintons have been untouchable for decades. Protected by powerful interests they can walk though fire and while those around them are consumed they do not even inhale the smoke. Any one of the scandals they waltzed through would have destroyed a Republican. Any Republican. It is hard to believe that Hillary will be indicted now that Obama has endorsed her. He has sent a clear signal to all those below him and those people are excruciatingly tuned to read those signals. For any lesser functionary, like the attorney general or the FBI director, to proceed with an indictment or referral would require extraordinary courage. I think the director has it, but he requires a dance partner and Lynch will most likely sit this one out.

Sen Grassley wrote in a June 13, 2015 letter: It appears that one of Abedin's clients, the Clinton-connected Teneo Strategies, may have been compensating Ms. Abedin for gathering information from US government sources for the purpose of informing investment decisions of her consulting clients - or in other words, political intelligence. This raises important questions about whether Abedins dual role was adequately disclosed to government officials who may have provided her information without realizing that she was being paid by private investors to gather information.
Grassley's letter recounted:

<><> one email exchange involved Teneo's Doug Band pressuring Abedin to encourage her State Department boss, Hillary Clinton, to facilitate a White House appointment for one of his clients. Judith Rodin, then-president of the Rockefeller Foundation, "donated hundreds of millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation," Mr. Band allegedly noted in his email to Ms. Abedin.
<><> email evidence allegedly suggests that Ms. Abedin and another Hillary aide, Cheryl Mills, colluded to find a way to ensure the US govt paid for Ms. Abedin's travel to and from New York.
<><> multiple allegations received by Sen Grassley's Judiciary Committee indicated Abedin had actually taken leave during her time as a govt employee, casting doubt on whether Abedin should have received $33,000 in taxpayer money.
<><> allegations surfaced that the State Dept personnel rule was quietly bent to permit Abedin to collect her government paycheck while wielding her influence to the benefit of her other employers.
<><> Hillary Clinton jetted to Ireland with Abedin at her side for her last official trip before exiting the State Dept, during which Hillary attended an event hosted by a major Clinton Foundation donor that had been promoted by Teneo (for which Abedin then-served as a "consultant")

Abedin is currently vice-chair of Hillary's presidential campaign committee.

FREEPER PATRIOTFURY POSTED---- I was in Moscow, at the U.S. Embassy in October of 1993, when by pressure from Bill Clinton, the INS was ordered to seriously realign quota’s to significantly reduce or limit visa’s from around the world, in an effort to significantly increase the volume of visa’s from the Middle East and several countries bordering the Middle East. Even known terror supporting nations were on the list.
Within weeks, there was federal funding advertised and made available to individuals from the same middle eastern region, for pretty much all possible living expenses and education. There were even briefings/classes conducted by our INS to individuals of middle eastern origin on how to sign up for the programs. Even travel expenses was an option for many.
Of course, the bulletin went to every U.S. Embassy and Consulate around the world. Even the more educated and “western friendly” individuals who had been in line were moved out of line in many instances, to make way for the higher volume of individuals which would come from the Middle East. I also remember the “chatter” from officers at various levels within the embassy speaking of how this was going to result in the U.S. experiencing dangerous terror attacks, and serve to increase government control of our society at the expense of our freedom’s. This was a significant pivot point in INS visa orientation. At the time, almost no one thought it wise, and questioned the motivation for such policy.
