I’m sure the media won’t investigate WHY he was removed from the watch list. I’m sure a handful of terrorism-enabling policies from the White Hut didn’t help.

That’s what I thought, too.
IIRC, “AR15,” and “AR-15” are registered to Colt. If it’s not a Colt, it’s technically not an AR-15.
And whatever that one is, it’s a semi-auto 5.56/.223 that takes M-16 magazines. Close enough, whether or not the internals are compatible.
I don’t get too worked up unless they’re calling a lever-action an “assault rifle.”
