Exactly. I would have loved her to answer, “I’m really surprised you think that is a decent question to ask any American. This pageant is among other things about courtesy and excellent comportment, and that question doesn’t demonstrate either.” And then go into the kind of person she wishes to see in leadership.
Fashion icon with black roots
Absolutely pathetic answer. Miss CA really blew it. Such an easy question. A typical acceptable answer could have been, “It seems lately that the middle class is lacking in opportunities so more of them are becoming poor. I hope things soon change to enable the middle class to do as well as it used to so there won’t be as much distance between them and the rich.”
Miss Hawaii was beautiful and I still couldn’t tell what her ethnicity is.
Whatever it is...she could use a little more of it.
I stopped watching the pagents years ago- too LIberal. I really want to know what the hell does wearing a bikini have to do with representing a country or the world. I remember when it use to be more modest, like one pieces. Soon it will be thongs.
She should have told the judge that it was none of her business who she was going to vote for!
Well, let me know when it gets to thongs. I might start watching again. I haven’t watched any of these pageants since the 60s.
