It is becoming increasingly obvious that the six police officers were charged solely for political reasons.

Didn’t the leader of black lies matter just get charged with the forced prostitution of a 17 year old girl?
Sadly, the first instance of a using a civil rights trial as a back-up plan was at the hands of the George H W Bush justice department, and the victims were the police officers involved with the Rodney King incident.
I was offended when Bush did that, and I am just as offended when Obama’s Minions do it. Whether or not some lawyer can argue for its constitutionality, it is morally reprehensible to take a second bite at that apple.
I agree wholeheartedly. And Bush succumbed to mob rule. Everything about it was terrible. I actually believe some of those police officers should have been convicted...but they were acquitted...and that should be the end of it.

A real surprise to me, as I have had no faith in Marylanders for decades.
GHWB said he was sick at the officers beating Rodney King. They served hard time, and their careers were ruined. They probably can’t even vote now. One was named “Coon”.
