Gary Johnson is a big government, tax and spend career politician. Why the dishonestly named Libertarian Party nominated him is unclear but what is clear is Johnson is not a libertarian. Or an honest man. Or a legitimate candidate.

#NeverTrump and now #NeverJohnson?
Two questions spring to mind: When did Soros buy the National Review? When will they endorse Hillary?

Seems they forgot to mention Gary left office with a budget surplus that Richardson promptly spent and left the state deep in the red before Martinez.
The only reason Richardson signed CCW for the state is because it was so draconian in structure, qualify for each caliber to be carried,16 hours of class, $250 fee, must meet the stringent requirements of the DPS, which changed at a whim, etc. A law that he knew it would limit the number of people to qualify.
Also, I had him on tape saying he would sign it if it got to his desk. No one else could get him to commit. And he was running for re-election, so he was pandering at a gun show.
Gary was a successful businessman before he was governor. He built a garage run construction business into a multi-million dollar enterprise and built an entire city. So he knows what it takes for business to succeed. He can never get the platform to get his message out.

One would care about this, I guess, if they have some spare mental capacity lying around doing nothing.

Gary Johnson is a big government, tax and spend career politician.Actually, as Governor, he actually reduced the size of the state government, reduces taxes and increased revenue to the state. His record as Governor of New Mexico was quite Conservative.

“Actually, as Governor, he actually reduced the size of the state government, reduces taxes and increased revenue to the state. His record as Governor of New Mexico was quite Conservative.”
“When Johnson took the tiller in New Mexico in 1995, the budget stood at $4.397 billion. When he left in 2003, it had grown to $7.721, an increase of 7.29 percent a year.”
Gary Johnson grew the size of government at a very rapid rate.

Gary Johnson grew the size of government at a very rapid rate.Incorrect. He shrunk the government, reduced taxes and INCREASED REVENUE to the state. More money to spend? Absolutely, but the size of the government actually shrunk.

So could I assume that since Gary Johnson left office with a budget surplus, the increased revenues were due to increased economic activity?
